KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) — Online healthcare company, BookDoc has once again partnered with the Social Security Organisation (Socso) in the Socso Activ@Work Challenge 2018.
BookDoc, through the Activ feature, would see representatives from companies which have registered on BookDoc’s Activ mobile application competing to accumulate the highest number of points through the number of footsteps taken during physical activities such as walking, running, and exercising.
BookDoc founder, Datuk Chevy Beh said they were proud and happy with the success of the 2017 programme with the participation of over 100 employers and about 100,000 employees.
“Using the concept of being active while collecting rewards, this programme can make physical activity interesting to do,” he said.
On BookDoc’s Activ mobile application, Beh said participating companies had been provided with a promotional code to initiate the programme and the participants could redeem their rewards in the form of e-vouchers at selected premises nationwide.
“We are happy to be able to promote a healthy lifestyle among Malaysians. It also enhances the spirit of teamwork in their employees as they represent their respective companies competing to achieve the target,” he said after the launching of Workplace Health Promotion 2018 and prize-giving ceremony of the Socso Activ@Work Challenge 2017.
This year’s challenge will continue along the same concept and the organisers target the participation of 500 employers.
