KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Bernama) — In an effort to promote healthier workplace, 97 companies will participate in the three-month (PERKESO) BookDoc Activ@Work Challenge 2017, starting from next month.
Scheduled to run from Sept 1-Nov 30, the challenge would see representatives from companies which have registered on BookDoc’s Activ mobile application competing to accumulate the highest number of points through the number of footsteps taken during physical activities such as walking, running, and exercising.
BookDoc Founder and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Chevy Beh said apart from contributing points to their employers, participants would be offered various attractive rewards in an effort to promote healthier lifestyles at the workplace.
“We are working closely with 50 event partners, including Groupon, Uniqlo, ZALORA Malaysia, Focus Point, Guardian, Secret Recipe and Old Town White Coffee to reward high achieving employees with discounts each month,? he said during a press conference on the challenge here today.
On BookDoc’s Activ mobile application, Beh said participating companies have been provided with a promotional code to initiate the programme and participants can redeem their rewards in the form of e-vouchers at selected premises, nationwide.
Several notable companies, such as Petronas, Employees Provident Fund, AirAsia and Time dotCom Bhd have signed up for the challenge.
All employers registered with the Social Security Organisation are eligible to take part in the challenge, and may do so by registering online via activatwork.perkeso.gov.my until Sept 19.
