NKF Joins Hand With Bookdoc For Better Kidney Health
KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) — An online healthcare company, Bookdoc today entered into partnership with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) in order to ease the search by the public for kidney-related information and services.
The collaboration was officiated by NKF Chief Executive Officer Chua Hong Wee to qualified BookDoc practitioner and founder Datuk Chevy Beh.
Under this collaboration, the public can easily search for information on NKF via BookDoc mobile app which is available for free in both App Store and Google Play Store.
Beh said besides promoting awareness, accessibility and convenience, the public would be able to search and choose the schedules as well as location for their free NKF LifeCheck Health Screening.
Meanwhile, Hong highly welcomed the partnership in order to support NKF efforts to raise the standards of care to patients with kidney failure.
“We hope that the general public will take advantage of these free services for early detection of kidney-related diseases and reduce the likelihood of ending up with chronic kidney disease,” he said.
